Renegade Materials Hosts Midwest SAMPE Event
MIAMISBURG, OHIO – Renegade Materials Corporation (RMC) recently welcomed members from the Midwest Chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) to a facility tour and dinner event. With a broad range of customer and supplier attendees, it was one of the most well-attended Midwest SAMPE Tour Events ever.
After a networking reception, guests were introduced to Renegade Materials by Kory Abbitt, Director of Business Development. She presented an overview of RMC’s manufacturing capabilities and products, including state-of-the-art BMI’s and Polyimides. Guests were then treated to a tour of Renegade Materials’ composites manufacturing and testing facility, followed by dinner.
“As the only technical society encompassing all fields of endeavor in materials and process engineering, SAMPE is critical to providing growth and educational opportunities to its members,” said Laura Gray, General Manager at Renegade Materials. “We are so happy to help support this
important organization and share our own knowledge and expertise for the betterment of all.”
Attendees included representatives from GE Aviation, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), and the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI). Composite Part Fabricators who utilize RMC’s products to manufacture parts for GE Aviation, like CTL Aerospace, were also represented, as well as one of Renegade Materials’ strategic suppliers of carbon fiber, Toho-Tenax America, Inc.
